California: Instant messaging application WhatsApp has introduced a new feature for testing, through which users can change status from their desktop version.

According to WhatsApp beta information, this feature is currently available only for Apple Mac users, and only Mac users will be able to update their WhatsApp status from their desktop.

A similar feature for uploading statuses from a linked device was introduced as a testing feature for Android users in December last year. This App has now introduced the same feature for Mac users in the latest beta version, 24.11.73.

After installing the latest updates on Apple Mac, users will see a new status icon on the sidebar. Click on it. A new window will open with a pencil and camera icon, which means users can share their status by clicking on the picture or by writing something.

This feature is currently in a testing phase and will be launched for Mac users soon. However, the company has not announced the launch date yet.
