Florida: The Canaveral Space Station in Florida sent the Falcon 9 rocket into space for the SpaceX company carrying the Astra 1P and SES-24 communications satellites.

According to media reports, SES-24 will be used by two companies. SES and Astra, both companies, will serve this as communication satellites for a partnership between these two companies. Both companies are part of European communications organizations.

In recent years, SpaceX has launched multiple low-Earth satellites, but Astra Geo is stationary; it will remain in orbit around 23,000 miles above the Earth.

The geostationary satellite covers a fixed area of the earth with signals. Communication companies usually use several stationary satellites to cover the entire Earth. This process is called “triangulation.”
