American spacecraft ready to pass close to the sun

One of NASA’s aircraft is ready to pass very close to the sun on Christmas Eve.

The name of this spacecraft is the Parker Solar Probe, which was launched in 2018 to observe and examine the sun. This Parker Solar Probe will pass near the sun on Christmas Eve at a distance of 38 million miles.

This spacecraft will pass closest to the sun on 25 December at 6:53 AM, according to the New York Times. At that time the Parker Solar Probe will be out of communication range, so immediate contact is not possible, but the data will be received in the next 2 to 3 weeks.
