These animals will be cryopreserved so that they can be kept efficiently. Cryopreserved is a method in which cells, tissues, or other organisms are preserved by freezing them to an extremely low temperature, almost -196 degrees Celsius.
This storage facility on the moon will be located near the lunar poles. The reason to locate this on the lunar pole is that there is no sun light at this point, due to which this will be the coldest area on the moon, and that’s why the temperature at this place is -196 to -200 degrees Celsius.
