New York: A new variant of the coronavirus is now spreading all over the world rapidly. Till now, it’s spread in almost 27 countries.

According to media reports, a new variant of Corona called XEC has emerged and is spreading rapidly in European countries. Scientists have warned that this new variant of the coronavirus is showing its effect quickly on human bodies.

This new variant of the coronavirus is more contagious, and it was first seen in June 2024 in Germany; after that, cases infected through this virus have been reported from countries like the UK, US, Denmark, China, and 27 other countries.

According to international media, this variant called XEC is a combination of the previous two COVID variants, KS1.1 and KP3.3, which are common in European countries.

Researchers found 500 samples of this new variant from 27 different countries, including European countries and China.

According to reports in Asia, only China is affected by this variant so far, and no case has been reported from the major countries in Asia like India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, etc.

According to the British news agency in XEC, scientists found some changes, like it spreading easily in the fall. A well-known medical expert from California, Eric Topol, warns that this is just the beginning of this new variant of the coronavirus, and this might be more dangerous than COVID-19. So we need to take safety precautions from now before it’s too late.
