NASA’s NEOWISE craft is deactivated after 10 years.

Washington: A telescope in space that tracks the planets or asteroids that are harmful or dangerous for planet Earth is now closed after more than a decade.
NASA’s Telescope, the Near Earth Object Widefield Infrared Survey Explorer space telescope, has been officially deactivated.

According to international media, in southern California, in the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, NASA sent the final command to the NEOWISE craft to deactivate this spacecraft after years of active defense missions.
NASA downloaded all the scientific data from this telescope and then deactivated it because soon it would fall too low in its orbit around Earth and no longer be able to send useful data.
