1 day on earth will become 25 hours due to moon

Slowly, slowly, the moon is going away from the earth. This claim was made some time ago in a study in America. Due to this, one day on earth will become 25 hours instead of 24.
A study by the University of Wisconsin-Madison revealed that every year the moon is moving away from earth at a speed of 3.8 cm, due to which the distance between the moon and earth increases gradually and also the length of the day increases.
According to the study, if this process continues, then after 20 million years, one day on earth will be 25 hours. The study also reveals that one billion and 40 million years ago, one day on earth was 18 hours.

Researchers say that in ancient times, the moon’s gravitational pull on ocean tides was weaker if we compare it with current times, due to which, at that time, the Earth rotated faster, which is why one day on earth was 18 hours.
But as the white planet goes away from the earth, its gravitational pull on ocean tides becomes stronger, which decreases the rotation of the earth. That’s why one day on earth is now 24 hours.
