According to the international media, a huge protest has been made in Kenya against the tax hike, and people are calling for President William Ruto to step down.

Thousands of protestors stormed the parliament building in Nairobi, Kenya, entered the building, and set fire to various parts of the building.

The police opened a straight fire on the protestor, due to which, till now, 10 people are dead and several are injured.

This protest has support from all over the world, and almost 50K tweets have been made on Reject Finance Bill 2024 only in the US in the past 24 hours with hashtag #Rejectfinancebill2024.
